Many years ago, my former roommate Brazilian Bob extended an invitation to his current business venture: an Irish pub. As it turns out, Brazil is lacking in shamrock-blessed watering holes, and it was his idea to start one in the coastal city of Recife with me as its front man (I was rocking a red beard at the time). The business venture was a bust, but it did connect me with a line of Brazilian amethyst. That led me to ask our artisans to craft our Brazilian Amethyst Earrings.
